Super Fruits and Fresh Vegetables
Here at Chad’s Raspberry Kitchen we pledge to always use fresh, natural ingredients in our raspberry jams, salsas, sauces, and syrups.Natural and Gluten Free
All of Chad’s Raspberry food products are hand-crafted and naturally gluten-free. We take pride in our use of all-natural ingredients. Our local family company avoids fillers and uses as few ingredients as possible. We use only the freshest fruits and vegetables in our famous raspberry salsas. Our goal is to enhance the subtle nuances of the rich, natural flavor of Bear Lake Raspberries - not cover them up.
Real Raspberries, No Corn Syrup
Chad’s Raspberry Kitchen is very selective of ingredients that we use. We never add corn syrup to any raspberry products, including our raspberry syrup. This common sweetener can be more harmful to our health than raspberries can be helpful, causing blood sugar spikes, and over time intestinal lining damage and fibrosis. You won’t see long lists of ingredients you can’t pronounce on any product from Chad’s Raspberry Kitchen, and you can trust that only real food goes into your favorite products.
Health Benefits from Raspberries
Raspberries offer many health benefits. Raspberries are lower in sugar than most other fruits, and are also full of important vitamins and antioxidants. Raspberries are a good source of fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin c, manganese, b vitamins, and potassium just to name a few.
Part of what makes the raspberry sweet is the xylitol, which contains fewer calories than sugar and is absorbed into the bloodstream more slowly, reducing insulin spikes. The antioxidants found in raspberries neutralize and stabilize free-radicals in our bodies, which has been linked to a variety of health benefits including slower aging, reduced inflammation, and staving off arthritis, heart disease, and other serious conditions.
Another beneficial substance found in raspberries is anthocyanins. While there is still a lot of research to be done in this arena, anthocyanins are believed to have a big impact on health. They promote eye health by countering retinal oxidative stress and reducing inflammation of eye tissue. They are an anti-allergic, anti-viral, and antimicrobial substance. Anthocyanins promote heart health by lowering blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar levels. Anthocyanins found in raspberries have even been linked to cancer prevention.
